What now?

How can I access NDIS support services?

Step 1 – Get an NDIS Plan

Your first step is to find out if you’re eligible to access NDIS funding. Visit the NDIS website and answer the questions to find out if you’re eligible.

If you’re eligible, you need to make an access request to the NDIS to apply for funding.

When you have provided them with the information they need, the NDIS will make an access decision. If you’re approved for NDIS Support Services, you will have a planning meeting with your Local Area Coordinator or NDIA Planner to discuss your goals and what help you need to achieve those goals.

They will write an NDIS plan, which will explain your goals and what support services you have funding for.

Step 2 – Get in touch with us

As an NDIS provider, we can now arrange a support plan to suit your needs.

We will have a phone conversation with you so we can get some details about your location and what NDIS support services you have funding for.

We then send through a list of questions so we can get some more information about the type of service you require, how often you need it and what your disability support needs are. We can send this list through via email or the post.

Based on this information, Connect Inner West will draft up a service agreement. We’ll send it to you to approve.

Then you are ready to go!
